What are CanTags?
- CanTags make it easy to find and share news online by topic and geographic location, using a standard set of codes. For example, to tweet some news about last night's Leafs game in Toronto, you'd add #TORSPO to your tweet.
How can I use CanTags?
- When tweeting or sharing your news online, use the standard CanTags to make it easy for others to find it. Here are the standard topic and city codes.
How can I suggest or add more CanTags to the list?
- There are three easy ways for you to contribute.

- Having started with topic and city codes, CanTags is now adding neighborhood-level tags using the first three characters of postal codes (known as FSAs).
